AI is changing the game in video and image generation—making it easier than ever to turn ideas into stunning visuals. If you want to create your own videos without troublesome editing, Dreamlux lets you explore it with one click. Dive into the future of AI content creation today.

Nvidia, a pioneer in accelerated computing, has introduced 65 newly developed and updated software development kits (SDKs) during the GTC 2021 conference. Collaborating with tech giants like Google and IBM, Nvidia is making strides to expedite research in the quantum computing realm.

Expanding its already extensive lineup, Nvidia now boasts over 150 SDKs supporting nearly three million developers within its NVIDIA Developer Program. Significant inclusions among the new SDKs include:

  • ReOpt: This SDK employs advanced algorithms for logistical optimization. By dynamically rerouting vehicles or managing fleet mixes, it aims to enhance efficiency, conserving both time and resources.
  • cuNumeric: Offering scalability, it implements the NumPy API, facilitating seamless expansion to multi-GPU and multi-node systems without altering the code.
  • cuQuantum: Designed for quantum computing, this enables accelerated simulation of extensive quantum circuits, aiding research in fault tolerance and speeding up tools from Atos, Google, and IBM.
  • CUDA-X Accelerated DGL Container: This aids in quickly setting up graph neural networks within a GPU-accelerated environment by integrating DGL and PyTorch.

Furthermore, updates in existing AI-related SDKs make them even more powerful. Tools like Deepstream 6.0 now provide a user-friendly visual interface for computer vision, while Triton 2.15 offers innovative optimizations for large language models, among others. Merlin 0.8 also sees advancements in its recommendation systems, effectively predicting user actions even with minimal data.

Advancing Quantum Research

Nvidia's collaboration with Google, IBM, and several other partners marks a significant leap towards enhancing quantum research. “This collective effort is necessary to propel quantum computing to unprecedented heights,” Nvidia mentioned in a blog statement.

A highlight of this partnership is Nvidia's cuQuantum SDK, featuring the cuStateVec library. This potent library supports the state vector simulation method, allowing simulations involving numerous qubits. Incorporated into Google Quantum AI’s simulator qsim and scheduled for integration with IBM’s Qiskit Aer, it offers a versatile tool for researchers globally, from renowned institutions like Caltech, Oxford, and MIT to national labs like Oak Ridge and Argonne.

Nvidia is set to make the transition easier for developers by providing a 'DGX quantum appliance', a containerized version of its simulation software tailored for DGX A100 systems, accessible through Nvidia’s NGC Catalog by year-end.
