Finally being able to enjoy a proper meal was a huge relief.

The decision had been made on LA time, and even though he was at a party, he wanted to share the news immediately. I had to wake my girlfriend up and slip out of her room, wearing a tiny pink robe, trying not to disturb her housemates. When I got the call, I crumpled down on the stairs, feeling quite unappealing.

One surprising quality I share with my character, King George, is our tendency to become deeply engrossed in hobbies as a form of escapism. When I'm facing challenges, I often dive into subjects like history, fitness, or some kind of fantasy/nerd interest. Similarly, George immerses himself in astronomy, science, and farming, using these activities to escape from his daily struggles.

On set, my best friend was Freddie Dennis, who plays Reynolds. The show's atmosphere and the writing fostered a sense of openness and vulnerability between us. We discovered we have a lot in common, and Freddie is genuinely a wonderful person. Our friendship has grown to the point where we’ve gone from being strangers to housemates.

I was working as a butcher’s apprentice in Notting Hill, my hands dripping with blood and entrails, when the call came. I missed it at first, too engrossed in my task to notice. When I finally checked my phone, my heart raced with excitement and disbelief.

One surprising trait I share with Agatha Danbury is our difficulty in acknowledging our mistakes.
